A: The best method is to upload your audio file directly through our web site (free service). Simply click on the Upload Files link and follow the instructions provided.

Alternatively, you are welcome to provide us with an FTP link to your audio file, which we will upload onto our system (at a small fee).

We do not accept files sent via email. Email is often capped on size and is insecure.

A: You can have your CD/ DVD digitised by any professional digitising service in your area. Alternatively, you can download one of the many free or low-cost "ripping" software programmes. Two examples are:

Video files can be large, so lowish settings are recommended. We discourage ripping to video because of the file size, but one way to reduce the video file size is to upload to a site like Youtube and download the resulting flv file.

A: After transcribing your file, we will email you a WORD document of your transcript with an attached brief summary report of the job.

A: Way With Words Group does not compromise on quality. We have a rigorous Quality Control process for reviewing transcripts prior to final completion.

Way With Words Group employs only the highest calibre transcribers locally and internationally and has made a considerable investment in its staff and management selection for this reason. Fewer than 5% of all applications of persons wishing to work for us as transcribers are eventually considered. Successful candidates undergo initial testing followed by an intensive period of training lasting up to three months.

A: If a client requires, we will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), Service Level Agreement (SLA), or other Confidentiality Agreement upon review.

A: Way With Words Group transcription charges are based on the number of speakers in your recordings, the turnaround time you select, and whether or not you require time coding or download assistance.

A: Many transcription companies outsource their work to "cheap" backend providers, usually in India, the Philippines, and other parts of Asia and Eastern Europe. This is often without client awareness or consent. This practice brings great risk to both confidentiality and quality of transcription and therefore outsourcing transcription work in this manner is unacceptable to Way With Words Group.

Generally, work required by UK clients is allocated to Way With Words Group UK transcribers. In some cases, depending on turnaround, volume, and speaker accents, files may be allocated to a select group of our Way With Words Group experienced international transcribers. All Way With Words Group transcribers are recruited, selected, trained, and contracted by Way With Words Group directly.

All Way With Words Group UK transcribers are contracted under United Kingdom Labour Law requirements and, after a process of assessment, training, and probation, sign employment contracts that intentionally include confidentiality and related security requirements.

A: Audio files can be uploaded any time, day or night, in any time zone.

Jobs start as soon as the files are uploaded and required terms and instructions are finalised between the company and the client.
